A Fantastic Fall Giveaway! (Value: $250.00!)

It's no surprise, to anyone that knows me, that my FAVORITE season is Fall! It no longer feels like you're in a bowl of hot human soup, when you walk outside (Sayanora, Summer!). And it's the perfect in-between phase, right before the I'm-so-cold-my-bones-hurt sting of winter comes along! I think I love fall so much, because you can feel a change. Football games, bonfires, pumpkin flavored EVERYTHING! Sigh.... it makes my heart go pitter patter.

(Like, this could actually be me. ^)

But I also love September, in particular, because 2 of my kiddos birthdays, my birthday, my parents anniversary, and my 2 sister-in-law's birthdays are all in one beautiful month: SEPTEMBER. It's also the month when my apple tree is ready for harvest, and I make apple butter!

IT'S A GOOD MONTH, Y'ALL!
This particular September, I decided to celebrate my birthday by giving away a swag bag full of my favorite goodies, just in time for fall!

Here's the line-up of what all is in the swag bag:

So now, the question I'm sure you're asking:

HOW ON EARTH DO I WIN ALL THIS GOODNESS?!?!

I'm so glad you asked!

The WINNER will be drawn on my birthday 9/10/17, so Share, Follow, and Comment!

You're probably asking yourself how it can be that easy! My answer to you is the same answer I give my kids: Because I said so. When your love language is gifts (receiving, giving, making, dreaming about), it literally makes my heart want to explode, to give all this goodness to someone else! Who knows, maybe the winner won't like Fall quite as much as I do, but a pick-me-up during a hard time, could be just what was needed! That's my prayer!

As always folks,

Choose Joy, Speak Life, and Keep Marching!

XOXO,

Sierra

  2. I'd have to say...scarfs, hot chocolate, and defiantly conquer fights! I love seeing the smiles on people's faces when they see a pumpkin, or a nice slice of apple pie. Bonfire night is always a MUST and one of the best nights of the year for me, oh and you can't forget snuggling up with your loved ones :)

    2. I'm England, we have conquer trees which drop conquers in the fall and winter. When we were younger, we Eliot Ito two teams and collected as many conquers as we could for later, to throw them at the other team, kind of like am extreme game of dodge ball! Sounds dangerous now, but a lot of fun at the time!

My favorite thing about fall would have to be being able to spend time with family and friends outside raking leaves (more like jumping into leaves) and sitting inside drinking hot apple cider with some of my dads homemade butter cookies! And of course being able to drive around and see all the gorgeous trees change colours by my favorite spots to sit and think!

I love fall for the beautiful changing of the Fall leaves, living in the Midwest the colors on the trees are Gorgeous! I am born a Hoosier but now live in SW Michigan in the fruit belt region so Apples are abundant and I want to Can some applesauce!! Pumpkin bars w/cheesecake frosting, lattes, seeds, carving, bonfires, sweatshirts and acorn squash soup! I also love the return of making yummy soups w/the weather change! I also can't wait to carve a pumpkin with my 2.5 year old son. 30. Sweaters!!! As an October baby, autumn is in my blood! There is nothing more satisfying than wearing a great chunky sweater on a crisp fall day. My favorites are more than 10 years old.... because I wash with Woolite.... it's gotten even easier now that they are formulated for the washing machine.....& one especially for dark colors too! Just use the delicate cycle with cold water.... air dry (I found some great stackable drying racks designed to sit on the edge of the bathtub....& can be disassembled when not in use) No dry cleaning needed!

PS - Bought two of my favorite sweaters at local agricultural fairs.... handmade (which makes them even more precious) at great prices! Worth a stroll through the vendors tent after visiting the animals!

  34. Happy Early Birthday! Fall is also one of my favorite seasons because it means family time! My hubs and I moved half way across the country for his job so instead of attending football games with the family fall means cuddling on the couch and watch the games from afar. It also means heading to the pumpkin patch and this year that means taking our sweet 4 month old to pick out a pumpkin! It also means that start of a new school year which always makes my teacher heart happy plus getting to start a new bible study with my sweet high school girls! There's just so much to love about fall!!🍁

My favorite recipe is chicken and dumplings. There's something to be said about having a nice big bowl of comfort food when the air turns crisp.

My new favorite candle is Yankee Candle MidSummers Night! It's amazing and not to sugary smelling!

  35. My sister's birthday is September 10th too! So happy early birthday :) Fall is my absolute favorite season and has been since I was little. Growing up in Pennsylvania, the changing leaves signified family time and the holidays! Now that I live in northern Texas, we don't really get a fall until about December, but I still make the most of all the fall activities like pumpkin picking and cozy sweaters (indoors only of course!). My favorite fall scents are Autumn and Pumpkin Apple from Bath and Body Works - so at least our house smells like fall whenever I want! Our newest fall tradition is the Texas State Fair, so we can't wait for that at the end of September! That's what I love about fall! :) [ig: jlzims]

But one of my absolute favorite things to do in this season of life is to pull out all of the fleecy, zip-up,footie pajamas for my boys (We live in WI, so it can get chilly at night)!

  63. I love Fall and have already decorated! Pumpkins, mums, gourds, bittersweet berries and my sweet little woodland animals made out of straw! And of course my favorite candles--my Woodwicks! I love how they crackle as they burn--soooo cozy! I have cinnamon chai out right now, but also love my pumkin muffin candle!! Yummy smell! I also love the precious pictures I get out every Fall of my big teenage boys when they were toddlers sitting in big piles of leaves smiling and melting my heart! My favorite part of my Fall decorations! I also love my pumpkin spice coffee--already have a big stash of that! And I love sitting out by the fire pit on chilly evenings enjoying a cracking fire with family and friends. And chilly morning coffee dates on the deck with my husband-all bundled in our sweatshirts and wool socks with steaming mugs of coffee! :) A favorite Fall memory was visiting a pumpkin patch when my kids were little. My sis and I took our kids to this great little farmstand/pumpkin patch and they played in sandboxes filled with dried corn, did hay bail mazes, picked pumpkins and petted the goats, etc. it was so fun and festive with hay bails, mums and pumpkins everywhere! Happy birthday! Thanks for doing this fun giveaway! Blessings on you and thanks also for being such an encouragement!--Liz Lane in Lancaster County, PA ( I am a Southern girl relocated for ministry with my husband who is a pastor! :)

  74. Fall is our family's favorite season too! It's such a nice transition from a busy, hot summer.

One of my favorite fall traditions is an annual fall hayrack ride out at my Great Uncle's farm. We have a soup potluck, hayrack rides, and a bonfire. Most importantly, we get to have great fellowship with one another! We have been doing this tradition for many years and it's so fun to be able to take my kids to something that started when I was a wee little one.

Hope you have a great month of September and birthday! Also, thank you for sharing your fall faves!

  77. My favorite fall family tradition is every evening we take a walk after dinner. The evenings in Arizona are beautiful. Our daughter is an animal lover and dreams of being a pet rescuer when she grows up. So on our family walks she brings her "pet rescue bag" which has everything she might need incase we come upon an injured or lost animal. ❤ This is the perfect time to chat about our day, talk about our blessings and sometimes we throw in some learning because a homeschooler always finds something to learn. ❤

I love your love for GOD, demonstrated in your desire to look more like Jesus little by little as led by the sweet voice of the Holy Spirit.

  96. My favorite fall tradition is every thanksgiving my family plays baseball all together! It is so much fun and started in the front yard but as our families have grown and the 'kids' have had kids we have officially moved it to an actual field in our town- it's so much fun! My favorite fall recipes are different creamy pumpkin spice concoctions I experiment with in my coffee drinks. I'm a coffee experimenting extremist and I make different sweetener syrups so experimenting with all the fall is too much fun. My favorite fall scented candle is a subtle balance between fall and creamy. LOVE me some pumpkin pie candles with a dash of creamy/vanilla in there. Happy Fall Y'all!

  104. I love fall because it reminds me of when I was little and we lived on a game reserve. We'd hear the geese flying over the marsh every day, honking above us. Dad's office was near our house and having both my parents and siblings so close, what a safe and loving environment to grow up in. The leaves, the colors, it's all so lovely plus it makes you want to sit by the fire, bake up a storm and just enjoy being alive.
